Brand Design: Eva Pro Haircare
Brand Design:
Eve Pro Haircare
Embark on a journey through my transformative tenure as the lead graphic designer for Eva Professional Hair Care, where I spearheaded a comprehensive brand redesign initiative aimed at redefining its visual identity.
Joining the team in early 2021, I immersed myself in crafting a cohesive brand presence, with a primary focus on enhancing Eva’s B2C engagement through an authentic and organic design approach. Armed with a background in creative advertising and social media, I delved deep into understanding the brand’s essence, its competitors, and the prevailing trends in the beauty and health industry. This groundwork laid the foundation for a nature-inspired, organic brand identity that resonated deeply with our audience.
As the sole graphic designer on the team, I took charge of curating Eva’s social media presence, primarily on Instagram. Through a meticulous blend of photography, design, and content curation, I ensured that every visual aspect reflected Eva’s friendly, cohesive, and organic ethos.
The eventual transition from stock images to a series of successful photoshoots marked a pivotal moment in Eva’s visual journey, providing a solid foundation for all future design endeavors. My role as the photographer in these shoots not only showcased Eva’s products and values but also allowed me to discover and hone my skills in photography.
With a clear brand identity established, I transitioned into a multifaceted role encompassing various design responsibilities. From designing captivating in-feed posts to creating engaging video content and motion graphics, I maintained a keen eye on maintaining design consistency across all mediums. Collaborating closely with the web developer, I ensured that the website’s layout and design aligned seamlessly with Eva’s brand identity, fostering a cohesive user experience.
Through continuous refinement and evolution, Eva underwent a brand identity transformation, culminating in a modern, simple, and professional aesthetic. By strategically curating new photoshoots and carefully selecting existing content, we realigned Eva’s visual identity to refocus on its B2B aspect, paving the way for a new chapter in the brand’s journey. As Eva’s journey with the team came to a pause, it marked the beginning of a new chapter in my career journey. Promoted to the role of graphic designer for Eva’s parent brand, Starpil Wax, I carry forward the invaluable lessons and experiences gained during my time with Eva, poised to continue shaping brands and driving impactful design transformations.
